This Saturday, October 26, 2013, Penn women’s club lacrosse showed up 40 players strong to take down neighboring Drexel University 11-6. Notable contributors to the win were freshman, Alina Fiato, who dominated the first and second halves with an impressive 3 (maybe more!) goals, as well as freshman, Morgan Berman, who used her impressive field-hockey like skills to score a quick stick goal off a rebounded shot. Freshman, Meredit Spann also came up big for the Red&Blue on defense, scooping up an impressive amount of 50/50 ground balls, and allowing the quakers dominate on the offensive end. As always, Junior goalies Valerie Cohen and Isbael Xu locked down the goal, securing Penn’s 11-6 victory. Penn is set to take on Lehigh University this upcoming Sunday, November 3rd at Franklin Field. See you there!

Successful Penn Home-Opening Scrimmage at Penn Park Yesterday!
Penn played Rider University’s club team Sunday at home on Adams Field in Penn Park. It was a great scrimmage showcasing splendid skills, tenacious transitions, flawless finesse finishes, and ceaseless communication and collaboration in beautiful weather!
